About the Author

Rhonda has spent her life caring for others, personally and professionally. After growing up in a small northwest Pennsylvania town she made caring for others a career. As a nurse, a court-appointed child advocate, and a special needs parent advocate, she has spent the last three decades advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Rhonda Thompson, DNP, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, received her nursing degree from University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. She has two master’s degrees, MSN and MBA from University of Phoenix, and her Doctoral of Nursing Practice from Rush University.

Rhonda and her husband Eric moved to Phoenix, Arizona a year ago after twenty-five years of living in Texas. They have two rescued Jack Russell terriers, Cassie and Sheldon.
